Sweet pork belly : PINAYs' EASY RECIPE
This sweet pork belly recipe is very simple and easy to prepare using ingredients that are readily available in your kitchen.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg. pork belly sliced into serving portions
- 150 ml. water
FOR MARINADE:
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 cup banana catsup
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar or honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tbsp. apple apple cider vinegar
- Combine all ingredients for marinade then marinate the meat for about 2 hours or best when done overnight
- Boil the meat together with the marinade and water under medium heat stirring occasionally until it is almost dry
- Serve hot
