Booth of Sablan, Benguet - Adivay 2015

Below are some of the photographs of the Municipality of Sablan Booth during the Adivay 2015 festival held at the Benguet Sports Complex (formerly Wangal Stockfarm), La Trinidad, Benguet.

Sablan was derived from the local word "sabdang", a local tree which thrived in the area.  It is the westernmost municipality of Benguet bounded by Kapangan, Tublay, La Trinidad, Baguio City, Tuba, Aringay and Burgos.  8 Barangay composed the Municipality. These are: Poblacion, Bayabas, Banangan, Banengbeng, Kamog, Bagong, Pappa and Baluay.  It is the least populous municipality of Benguet.

Some of the municipality's products are mango, banana, pineapple, star apple and santol.  They also make soft brooms from tiger grass.

3 waterfalls could be found in the area.  They are Sabdang Waterfalls, Sacdol Waterfalls and Towing Waterfalls.
