Booth of Kapangan, Benguet - Adivay 2015

Below are some of the photographs of the Municipality of Kapangan Booth during the Adivay 2015 festival held at the Benguet Sports Complex (formerly Wangal Stockfarm), La Trinidad, Benguet.













Kapangan is a fourth class municipality bounded by Kibungan, Atok, Tublay, Sabla and Bagulin, San Gabriel and Sugpon.  It was formerly called Takdang or Tacdang, meaning "people from the east" or from the direction of the rising sun. The early people who settled in Kapangan came from Tinec, Buguias and Bontoc. It is composed of 12 barangays namely: Central, Datakan, Pongayan, Gaswiling, Sagubo, Gadang, Paykek, Pudong, Taba-ao, Cuba, Balakbak and Boklaoan.

Kapangan has a lot of attractions to offer.  To name some are the following:
  • Dakiwagan Mountain
  • Balabag Mummy Cave
  • Amburayan River
  • Camp Utopia and  many more
