The best and worst of a full time wife and mom

As a full time home maker, I consider it as the most rewarding and fulfilling career ever. I said home maker not house wife because home is not just a place but  rather a place to live in.  Is home making a career? Well definitely is.  It's not something you do because you are required to do so in exchange for something superficial in nature but you do so with the best you can because of the love and concern for the the family well-being and the reward is something beyond imagination, even words are not enough to give  an accurate description.  It's something that only the heart and soul can feel.

Personally looking after  each and every member of the family gives peace of mind as well knowing that their needs are well taken cared of rather than having some clouds of doubt in mind when they are under the care of another person.   The values a mother instills in her children most especially at their crucial stage of growing up will always be there regardless of some other factors like environment and peers influence that may put to test that values at some point in their life later. Seeing your children grow than seeing them grow in pictures brings endless happiness as well.

While the reward is beyond measure, a full time wife and mom has it's downside on the other hand . This is especially so for someone who used to work and earn by her own.  Choosing to be at home full time will make you give up your financial freedom.  The mere thought of wanting this or that will make you think twice always.  Why? because you have to make sure that you will only spend within what was allotted for the period or even stretch it to make both ends meet and spending beyond will be a major headache that will just drive you nuts when the budget for the next is not enough, more so in times when medical emergency arises.  Unless you are someone who has other sources of income aside from relying on the head of family's provision of monetary needs,  then giving up your regular source of income is quite a battle.
