Coffee stains on granite tiles? Don't underestimate the power of hydrogen peroxide and baby powder

As I have posted on my previous article, I never believed at first the combination of hydrogen peroxide and baby powder as a solution to  my problem on the coffee stain on our granite floor.

All you need is hydrogen peroxide and baby powder and here's how to do it:
  • Pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide on the stain.
  • Sprinkle baby powder on top of the hydrogen peroxide just enough to cover it.
  • Let it stay there for 1 day undisturbed.
  • After a day, scrape off the mixture (do not use pointed or sharp materials or anything that will damage the tiles).
You will then notice that the stain disappeared.  However, if the mark is still there after the first application, try to do another time.  It would be harder to remove the marks when it sit there for a long time.  In our case, the stain on our flooring was more than a week old.  I am not sure though if this remedy will work on coffee stains that had been there for a very long period of time.  But it's worth a try.
