La Trinidad, Benguet

La Trinidad, Benguet or La Trinidad Valley is a first class municipality and the capital of the province of Benguet. It is known as the "strawberry capital of the Philippines" because of the high
quality harvest of strawberries yearly. The town also produces and supplies other products such as flowers like rose among others and highland vegetables. These products along with the other products coming from the other municipalities are traded at the vegetable trading post (mostly for wholesale but the traders also sell in smaller quantities)  and at some other trading outlets for retails.   It is bounded by Tublay, Sablan, Baguio City, Itogon and Tuba.  From the City of Baguio, the boundary is just 3 kilometers away, or around 5-10 minutes drive without heavy traffic.
