it's who you are

Different people, different mindset, different attitude, different status in life....Differences that created a gap between each and everyone of us yet binding us in many different ways.  Sometimes, our positions in life made people decide to cling or stay away from us.  The more we have, the more
people tend to stick to us.  So if we have less, then it follows that we rarely got a crowd.  It's sad but true.  Human nature of being choosy and wanting to assimilate with someone whom they think is more advantageous on their part without realizing that in the end, its not.

But does status in life make someone look up to you in the highest degree? Is respect freely given or something earned?  Is it something easily regained once lost?

Many don't realize that in this double-standard world, exist double-faced individuals but one thing is certain and factual, people regard you highly because of who you are regardless of how much nor what you have.  Material positions nor educational attainment does not define you but your character will.
