Matthew 10:24-25 (Kankanaey)

"A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.  It is enough for the student to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master.  If the head of the house has been called Beelzebub, how much more the members of his household!"

"Just as it is true that a pupil or student does not outrank his teacher, neither does a slave his master or owner. The same it is with respect to The Twelve (and all of Christ's followers) in their relation to Christ, their Teacher and Lord. If Jesus is not revered, then his disciples will not even be respected. The student will not be treated better than his Teacher. Therefore if the enemy treats the pupil or slave with the same disdain which he confers upon the superior, that is, if he does not treat the subordinate still worse, let the latter be satisfied " explained by third millenium ministries
