How powerful is positive thinking? PART 2

6. Expect the best and get it - It is a well-defined and authentic principle that what the mind profoundly expects it tends to receive. The bible emphasized that "If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes" Mark 9:23.

7. Don't believe in defeat - There is no difficulty you cannot overcome. When you keep asserting that things are going to work out well, good results occur. Rather than thinking negatively, try to focus on how to achieve your goals despite obstacles.

8. Break the worry habit - Worrying is an unhealthy and destructive mental habit. God asked us not to worry but to trust Him completely. Empty your mind daily of your worries and fears so it will not clutter your mind and spirit.

9. Solve personal problems - Rather than getting drowned with your problem, find the solution. One of the most effective techniques in problem solving is to draw strength from God and seek his guidance.

10. Get people to like you - We might as well admit it, we want people to like us. If someone says, "I don't care whether people like me or not," he is not telling the truth. It is a fact that you will never get everybody to like you but do not assume that something is wrong with them. Assume instead that the trouble is within you and determine to find and eliminate it.
