Hapao Rice Terraces

The beautifully sculptured rice terraces of Hapao at Hungduan, Ifugao.  It could be reached by one and a half hours drive from Banaue, Ifugao.  


I had the chance to see the place when we frequented it's nearby barangays Ba-ang and Nungulunan for the commissioning of the Micro-Hydro project of Benguet State University - Affiliated Renewable Energy Center (BSU-AREC), the agency where i used to worked.  

Ba-ang, approximately 40-45 minutes hike from the main road, has a hot spring to enjoy a soothing bathe.  The stunning beauty of the place and the warmth of the people,  is worth the very long trip as well.
